About us

We run a monthly rock 'n' roll band night on the first Saturday of each month in Newport on the sunny Isle of Wight. We use both mainland and Island bands and can cater for around 200 guests.

We also offer dance tuition, at beginner and improver levels, in authentic 1950's rock & roll (jive) and Lindy Hop (jitterbug). We are able to provide classes for couples, small parties, large groups and festivals. We can arrange demonstrations and/or taxi-dancers for parties, weddings, fetes and other occasions.

Lindy Hop

We started Lindy Hopping in 2006 after being inspired by a couple jiving in a tiny Irish bar on the island of Malta, in 2005. We got 'the bug' and began dancing up to five times a week and quickly moved from beginner to improver level, and started teaching Lindy Hop classes in 2008.

Rock & Roll

We started Rock 'n' Roll dancing towards the end of 2006 as a progression from our Lindy Hop. Having a good grounding in Lindy enabled us to progress quickly and we have been teaching this style of dance since 2009. We teach at the annual Newbury Retrofestival and at Boogaloo Promotions, Rock 'N' Roll weekenders.
