ANNOUNCEMENT:  End of Our Annual Charity Dance

 

After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our annual charity dance. Rising costs over recent years have significantly reduced the funds we are able to contribute to our chosen causes, and we feel it is no longer viable to continue the event in its current form.

 

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the dance over the past ten years — from those who bought tickets and filled the dancefloor, to the volunteers, organisers, performers, and behind-the-scenes helpers who made each year such a success. Your generosity and spirit have meant the world to us.

 

This event began as a tribute to Joyce Sedgwick, whose kindness and attitude inspired so many. Her memory has lived on through this dance, and we are proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in her name.
